Maintenance Guide for UV Oiled Floors

You may or may not know that wood flooring requires regular maintenance following installation. However, the level of maintenance that is required largely depends on the nature of the wood itself. With UV oiled wood flooring, it is recommended that you begin the maintenance process as soon as it has been installed. Although UV oiled flooring will become easier to maintain over time, it can take a while to become as strong and resistant as it can be. This is a result of the fact that the soap used to clean it actually establishes a protective film to protect it and make it more resistant to the effects of dirt. If necessary, UV oiled wood flooring can be re-oiled a little further down the line to ensure that it does stand the test of time, but you do need to properly maintain it in the meantime.
